The sons Leo and Joseph of the late Sylvia wish to express sincere gratitude to the many kind relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. Thank you to all who called at the house, brought gifts, sent cards, attended the funeral and those who made donations in lieu of flowers.
Thank you to Father Canny for all his spiritual support and celebrating the lovely funeral mass. Thanks to Denise O'Kane and Aidan Watkins for the beautiful music. Also to Ardmore Chapel for the use of the parish hall and to Cassidy's Cafe for the delicious catering.
Sincere thank you to all who provided excellent care for Sylvia over the past years, to Wards 21 and 23, the palliative care team and Dr McCarron in Altnagelvin Hospital, the Glencaring Community Staff, Glendermott Medical Group, Murphy’s pharmacy, Sylvia’s wonderful neighbours in Tamworth Crescent and most especially Judy McLaughlin.
Grateful thanks to W.J. O’Brien and Son, Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for their excellent guidance and efficiency.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of the family’s appreciation.
The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
