15th January 2024 beloved wife of Robert, 22 Beechwood Park, Strathfoyle, loving mother of Louise, Gary, Colin, Peter, Elaine and Emma, mother-in-law of Noel, Lorraine, Lisa, Richard and Kieran and cherished granny of Jack, Abbie, Shannon, Ellie, Elsie, Alfie, Yvie and Darcie.

Her remains will be reposing in her home from 6 pm on Monday. Funeral from there on Thursday at 12.30 pm for 1 o’clock funeral service in W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU. Interment afterwards in Ballyoan cemetery. Family time please from 10 pm to 11 am.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE.

So very sad to learn of the death of Sylvia and send sincere condolences to her husband Robert and all her family and friends.
I did not know Sylvia very well but the few times I met her she made such an impression I would never forget her. She was one of life’s beautiful people.
