Sylvia SHEERIN (née Foster)
SHEERIN (née Foster), 26th May 2026, peacefully, after a short illness, at her home, 16 Raftery Close, Ballymagroarty, surrounded by her loving family, SYLVIA (formerly of Creggan Heights), beloved wife of the late Bill, loving mother of Denise, Emmet, Jason, Alan, Stephen, William, Kevin and the late Jason and Linda, a dear mother-in-law, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother to all her grandchildren, cherished daughter of the late Susie and Dickie Foster, a dear and loving sister to Brian, Kevin and the late Joan and a caring aunt to her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle.
Sylvia will be reposing at her home on Tuesday 26th May from 8:00pm.
Family time please from 10:00pm to 10:00am.
Funeral leaving her home on Thursday 28th May at 9:20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her.
