Acknowledgement

The family of the late Teresa (Tess) Devine RIP, much loved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement.

We extend our thanks to the staff of Claudy Health Centre and to Bradley’s Pharmacy over the years. We especially thank the staff of Ward 26 in Altnagelvin Hospital and Ward 3 in Waterside Hospital for their dedicated care and attention to Mum and for their support to the family during her final period of illness.

Sincere thanks to Fr Daniel McFaul, Fr Patrick Lagan and Fr Michael Canny for visiting and offering prayers and spiritual support to Mum during her time in Altnagelvin Hospital and Waterside Hospital. Thanks also to Fr Raymond McCullagh and Fr David O’Kane for their prayers and support during Mum's illness and leading the family in prayer at the wake.

Thank you to Fr David O’Kane who celebrated the beautiful and comforting Funeral Mass. Thanks also to everyone who participated in the Funeral Mass, to the Sacristan and to Tess's grand-daughters - Michaela, Clodagh, Aisling and Emma, accompanied by Brendan Brady for their beautiful music and singing which so enriched the funeral liturgy.

We are truly grateful to everyone who attended the wake and Funeral Mass, sent Mass and sympathy cards, sent messages via social media, brought food and gave flowers. Thanks to Claudy John Mitchel’s GAC, for their help and support during the wake. We will never forget everyone's kindness and generosity.

We also thank the gravediggers and Curran’s Bakery, Greysteel for providing refreshments after the funeral. We finally would like to thank Kieran and the staff of W.J O'Brien & Son for their dignified and professional handling of all arrangements.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.

Tess's Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 29th August at 7:30pm in Saint Patrick’s Church, Claudy. Everyone is welcome.

Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.
