Acknowledgement / Month's Mind Mass
The family of the late Tess Deehan (née Doherty), late of Cable Street, Derry, who passed away peacefully on 18th. August would like to acknowledge all those who sympathised with us and who expressed kindness on our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to thank all those who called to the house, sent messages of condolences, those who gave mass cards, floral tributes and donations to the Foyle Hospice.
We would like to thank those who attended the funeral in person or watched online. Your support and thoughts were a real comfort to us at this very difficult time.
A special thanks to Dr Damien McMullan (Palliative Care Consultant, Foyle Hospice / Western trust) for his invaluable support in the last few weeks of Tess's precious life. We would also like to thank the Enhanced Intermediate Care Team, Acute Care at Home, Aberfoyle District nurses and their team for their care and compassion during Tess's illness.
A special thank you to Fr. Clerkin for the beautiful and meaningful Requiem Mass and his spiritual guidance. To Margarette McIntyre and her accompanist for the beautiful music during the Funeral Mass.
To Posh Platters for providing food during the wake and for providing the beautiful meal after the funeral.
