We the family of the late Rev. Duncan would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who have sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement.
Special thanks to Dr. Coulter and colleagues at Kerrsland Surgery for wise care over many years.
Sincere thanks to Manager Lyndsey Esler and all staff at Hawthorn House Care Home for dedicated care and personalised support to Norman and us over past 15 months.
Deep gratitude to Dr. Fearon and staff in Ward 6F, Royal Victoria Hospital for compassionate and professional care on his final day of life.
Very special thanks to The Very Rev. Dr. Frank Sellar for his deep comfort and pastoral support, prayers, and for conducting the funeral service. Additional thanks to the technology team of Bloomfield Church for their work in live-streaming the funeral service to a wide international audience.
Thanks to Bill and Anne Reid and all staff at Douglas Funeral Directors for excellence in arranging the funeral.
Thank you to all those who made donations in lieu of flowers to Open Doors (c/o Douglas Funeral Directors).
As a family, we have been deeply moved by the cards, telephone calls, texts and emails from wider family, friends and the church family at Bloomfield. We were overwhelmed and comforted by the number of people who lined the road from the church and on arrival at Edengrove Cemetery in tribute. We are unable to thank everyone in person so we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Joan, David, Esther & Stephen
