The death has occurred of:
Thomaseen BOLTON
No words will ever be enough to express our thanks for the support and help the Family have received over the 8 days of Thomaseen's passing. From the help in the home, food brought into the home, messages received by all formats, phone calls, cards, people visiting the home, D. Watters Funeral Home on Sunday and the attendance at the Service of Celebration for Thomaseen’s life on Monday has been truly overwhelming and such a comfort to us all. To the staff of Antrim Area Hospital, initially A&E, Resus, then ICU, Thomaseen received the very best care that could be afforded to her. Honest, compassionate and keeping us as a Family updated every step along the sad road we were on. The NI Organ Donation nurses have opened our eyes to a world we knew nothing about. The work and the way they go about the job they do at such a difficult time for Families has given us immense comfort that even in death Thomaseen has helped so many other people. We would encourage everyone to consider becoming an organ donor. To Helen, Kristy and the staff of D. Watters Funeral Services, Thomaseen and the wider Family Circle were in the very best of hands with the professional and compassionate way they carried out their duties. Sophie McHugh for her beautiful rendition of “On The Wings of a Dove”, Caroline McCormack, your poem, “Our Friend Thomaseen” said it all. Mr Ronnie McKee, a lifelong Family friend for his words of comfort, reading of the scriptures and prayers in the hospital, the Family home, the Thanksgiving service and at Roselawn, there definitely are no words that will ever convey our thanks and support Ronnie and his wife Monica afforded to us all. Speaking publicly at such a sad time is never easy, but when it’s your Sister you are speaking about it has to be especially difficult. The Family are blessed to have Neil Savage as a Son to Granny Savage, a Brother to Margaret, Janet, Maureen, Mildred and Karen, a Brother-in-Law to myself and others. Also, as an uncle to Thomas and Kathryn and the rest of the cousins. Neil, no words. My most used quote over the last week has been, “there’s been more laughter than tears of which there were no shortage” in our home. Seeni, you would have enjoyed the craic and we’ll miss you more than words will ever say.
Love you, Alan, Thomas, Tracey, Kathryn and Derek.
