The family of the late Tommy McKenna, 2 Main Street, Clogher, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation for all who supported and sympathised with us following our recent bereavement.
Many thanks to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, with many having travelled long distances to pay their respects to the family, along with those who phoned, sent messages, gifts and cards.
Thanks also to all of those who supplied food and refreshments to the family during the wake.
The thoughtfulness and generosity of our extended family, neighbours, friends and work colleagues has been a great comfort.
A special word of thanks to Very Reverend Canon Noel McGahan PP for his uplifting homily during the celebration of  Mass, as well as the spiritual care for Tommy at home and in Copperfields Nursing Home, Aughnacloy.
We thank Nicola & Orla Hamill  for the beautiful music and singing they provided during the funeral mass.
Our thanks to Clogher Eire Og’s, St Joseph’s Grammar School, Donaghmore and Lecale Trinity Grammar School, Downpatrick for their guards of honour at the burial at St Patrick’s Church, Clogher.  
We are very grateful to the Clogher Valley Carers who cared so attentively to Tommy for many years.
We also thank the management & staff of Copperfields Nursing Home for their  utmost care for Tommy in his final months.  
Our thanks to Colm McCaughey, Kieran Meehan and his staff, Pharmacist James McKenna and his staff, the staff in Arty’s, the District Nursing Team, the Acute Care Team, Dr Potter and the staff of Errigal Medical Centre for their constant support to Tommy over the years.  
Thank you to Donal Mellon, Funeral Director, and Brian McMahon assisted by Paudge Quinn for all their guidance and professionalism with the funeral arrangements for Tommy.
Our thanks to Canavan’s for providing refreshments after the funeral ceremony.  
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept our appreciation in this acknowledgement as a token of our family’s gratitude.
Tommy’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Clogher on Saturday 5th October 2024 at 12 noon.
