The family of the late Tony wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our sad loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who gathered along the route from dad’s home to Drumagarner Church on the day of his funeral, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to all those who participated in the funeral Mass, Fr. Cargan, the musicians, and especially McKiernan’s Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements.

We extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to all those who offered medical care and support particularly the medical staff at Antrim hospital, the Macmillan Unit, Kilrea Health Centre and McCloys chemist. To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Tony’s month’s mind Mass will take place on 28th August 6.00pm at St Mary’s Church Drumagarner.
