Tony’s family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to everyone who offered support and sympathy since Tony’s passing. Thanks to all who sent mass cards, sympathy cards and condolences on social media. To neighbours who stood out as Tony made his final journey from Derrylea to his place of rest.
Our sincere thanks to all who attended Tony’s Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Donagh and burial afterwards at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lisnaskea. Thanks also to those who travelled from Wicklow, Dublin and beyond to be with us.
A very special thanks to Fr Kevin Malcomson for his support during Tony’s final days and for the beautiful Funeral Mass conducted, and to all those who took part.
To the nurses, palliative care team and staff at Clarke's pharmacy for their care and kindness to both Tony and the entire family throughout his illness.
We are deeply grateful and thankful to Swift & McCaffrey Funeral Directors for the sympathetic and dignified manner in which they conducted Tony’s wake and funeral and especially for the personal level of help towards the family. Thanks to Ollie, Leo and Conor and to the grave diggers who prepared Tony’s final resting place. To Foxgloves & Ferns florist, Creative Floral Crafts and Skea flowers for the beautiful wreaths created.
Thanks to St Patrick’s GFC club house for providing the very welcoming food and refreshments afterwards.
Tony’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 30th May 2026 at 6:30pm in St Patrick’s Church, Donagh.

The old armchair sits empty now,
But the room still holds his smile,
A lifetime of his gentle strength,
We lean on for a while.
Working hands that built and guided us,

The lessons and the love he gave,
