Trevor BLACK
The wife and entire family circle of the late Trevor Black, who passed away suddenly on 9th May 2026, at his home, 20 Kidds Road, Bessbrook, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude to all our relatives, friends, neighbours and the wider community who sympathised with us during our recent sudden bereavement.
A special word of thanks is extended to Emma Joy Thompson and the ambulance service who attended to Trevor so promptly and treated him with such respect, kindness and dignity.
We offer our sincere appreciation to Rev Brian Colvin for his meaningful and comforting services at the funeral home, church and graveside. Thanks also to Caroline Hamilton, Church Organist, for the beautiful music, to Julie and Scott for their thoughtful readings and to Charlotte and Austin for their touching tribute to their Uncle Trevor.
Our heartfelt gratitude is extended to Mr John Murdoch, Funeral director, for carrying out his duties in such a loving, caring and dignified manner and for the use of his funeral home.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who brought food and flowers, sent gifts and cards, called at our home, sent messages of sympathy and attended the funeral, we would also like to sincerely thank all those who kindly made donations in lieu of flowers to Chest, Heart & Stroke N.I in Trevor's memory. Your generosity and support have been greatly appreciated.
A special thank you is also extended to our family and friends who helped in so many ways throughout this difficult time. Your kindness, support and love have been a great comfort to us.
Our final thanks go to the managers and staff of the Mourne Country Hotel, Belfast Road, Newry, for providing the refreshments after the burial and for their care and hospitality.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.
