The Collins family wish to acknowledge the many kind expressions of sympathy and support on the recent sad passing of Una, our beloved and respected mum, grandmother, sister and true friend.
We offer our sincere gratitude to our extended family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who came to pay their respect at the house, helped at the wake, sent mass cards, sent flowers and for those who brought food and attended the funeral. We are forever grateful for your words of comfort, visits, heartfelt messages and support.
Thanks to the Community Care Team, Foyle Hospice Outreach Team, district nurses and in particular, the Marie Curie nurses who cared for mum with great compassion, empathy and dedication and freely provided their support and understanding to us at the same time.
Thanks to Father Lagan who celebrated the Requiem Mass and to Fidelma McCormick for providing us with the beautiful singing.
Special thanks to W. J O' Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for their professional and dignified handling of all the funeral arrangements.
Mum’s months mind mass will be held in St Columb’s Chapel, Chapel Rd on Wednesday 22 November ’23 at 7.30 pm.
