Rosemary Welsh, niece of the late Dessie Armstrong, 365 Loughshore Road, Enniskillen, her family and the wider family circle would like to thank everyone who offered their condolences, called at our home, sent cards, attended Dessie’s arrival at Kilskeery Parish Church or attended his funeral.

A special thankyou to the doctors, nurses, palliative care team and all staff in Ward 6 of South West Acute Hospital. The professionalism, kindness and attentive care given to Dessie during his illness, and the dignity shown to him in his final days, are deeply appreciated.

Many thanks to Rev Philip Bryson, Kilskeery Parish Church, for his care and advice and for conducting a very fitting funeral service in celebration of Dessie’s life.

Thanks also to the Church Organist, Elizabeth Armstrong, the ladies who prepared and served the refreshments in the Church Hall following the service, those who prepared Dessie’s final resting place and everyone who gave donations to Ward 6 in SWAH.

Thank you to Keith Elliott - W T Morrison Funeral Directors and his team for the professional and compassionate manner in which they carried out their duties and for the support and guidance provided to us all during this difficult time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation to you all.
