Vincent McGUINNESS

We, the family of the late Vincent McGuinness, his wife Margaret, his sons Declan, Michael, and Cathal and his daughter Mary and the entire family circle, wish to express our sincere heartfelt thanks and gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement.

To all who came to the wake and funeral, sent mass cards and sympathy cards, brought food, flowers and wreaths and supported us in any way, we greatly appreciate at this difficult time. Thank you to all who cared for Vincent right up until his death Thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Eglinton Medical Practice, Sabrina and her team, Marie Curie and the Foyle Hospice nurses and to Ann Box, Respiratory Consultant and all the respiratory nurses who attended Vincent over the years.

Thanks to Fr Noel McDermott for his spiritual support, guidance and for celebrating the beautiful mass for Vincent. To Peter and Rachel for the wonderful music. To Faughanvale GAA for the lovely guard of honour. The family especially would like to thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped in any way. Thanks to Kieran and Noeleen at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the professional and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral.

Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s deep appreciation.

The Holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Vincent’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 8th January 2022 at 5 pm at Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale.
