The death has occurred of:
Violet CROMIE
The family of the late Violet Cromie wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who offered sympathy and support during their recent bereavement.
‘We are deeply grateful to everyone who visited the Cromie residence, sent cards, letters and flowers, telephoned, attended the funeral or helped in any way. We would also like to express our thanks to everyone who donated to the ‘Rathfriland Manor Patient Comfort Fund’. We know that Violet would have been touched by your generosity to the residents for which she held a special place in her heart.
A special word of thanks must be extended to the Reverend Barry Galbraith, kindly assisted by the Reverend Nigel Agnew, for conducting the funeral, and sharing some of his personal memories of Violet, which were of a great deal of comfort to us in our time of grief.
To Jeffrey Spiers of Spiers Funeral Services; we acknowledge and thank him for the dignified, professional and touching manner with which he carried out the funeral arrangements.
To Simply Good Catering; for the refreshments after the funeral, being of the highest quality and execution, were gladly received by all those who attended.
We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
‘The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mineenemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runnethover.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.’
