Jim's wife and family circle wish to tender special thanks to all the staff of wards 7B and 5E at RVH for the care and comfort given. To all who sympathised by sending cards, telephoned or called to my home, attended the funeral and sent donations. Thanks also to David Crymble and Sons Funeral Directors for the caring and dignified manner in which the funeral was conducted. Died March 10, 2018. Angels waiting by your side, the time is here, no place to hide. Journey done, it's time to go, you need to know we love you so. You touched our hearts in many ways, even in the darkest days. Know you this before we part, you go with kisses from the heart. We cry this day and rightly so, we never wanted you to go. Cornerstone and family tie, we never thought that you would die. With dignity you faced your peers, and proudly walked in all years. Job now done, on our own, hope your proud of how we've grown. A beacon on the raging sea, there was not one as strong as thee. You fought the fight and won the day, something none can take away. To you we owe our everything - Your greatest gift this love we bring. With heavy hearts we say goodbye and silent tears we too cry. And so dear Father slip away, we hope we'll meet again someday.
