William James (Jim) SMALLWOODS
The family of the late William James (Jim) Smallwoods wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with us on the loss of a beloved husband, father, father-in-law, brother, uncle, cousin, grandad, great-grandad and great-great-grandad.
Sincerest thanks to those who called at the family home, attended the service, sent cards, brought food, offered support and gave donations to the Chest, Heart and Stoke Foundation in lieu of flowers.
A special thanks to the lorry man who contacted the Emergency Service, also staff of the Emergency Services and the staff at Altnagelvin Hospital, for all they did for Jim and the family. Also to Jim’s much-loved City of Derry Golf Club for their guard of honour.
Thank you to David and Ruth Hay & Sons, Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional way they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thanks also to the Rev. Ross Kernohan and the Rev. Alistair Rosborough for their support to the family at a very difficult time.
As it would be impossible to thank each individual, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our deep appreciation.
