Lowry’s Wife Violet, his Sons and Daughters and the entire Family Circle of the late William Lowry McCrea wish to express their sincere thanks to the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues who sympathised and supported them and who shared with them in their recent sad bereavement. To everyone who called at the home, telephoned, sent messages of sympathy and cards and attended the funeral. To all those who very kindly sent food, paid their respects or helped in any way, thank you.

Sincere thanks to all those who helped to care for Lowry – Anne’s Home Care, Extra Care, District Nurses and Marie Curie. A special word of thanks to Moneymore Medical Centre, in particular Dr McKay and Dr Mohan and to the Pharmacists and Staff of Gordon’s Pharmacy, Cookstown. Heartfelt thanks to the Nursing Team at Laurel House, Antrim Area Hospital and special thanks to Dr Windrum who cared for Lowry during his illness.

A special word of thanks to Rev Marcus Lecky for his pastoral care, many visits and for conducting the funeral services. To Robin and Jolie Kane for providing the music during the service. Also to Lowry Ferguson who accompanied Lowry’s coffin on the bagpipes. Sincere thanks also to the Rev Duane Russell for his faithful visits to Lowry during his illness and for taking part in the funeral services. Thanks also to Rev William McCrea for his visits to Lowry and his ministry in song and to Rev Roy Stewart for his support and for partaking in the funeral service. Grateful thanks also to Alma Davidson and the ladies of Cookstown Free Presbyterian Church for providing such a delicious tea after the funeral service.

Thanks to all those who give donations in Lowry’s memory to Marie Curie and F.A.M.E., the Family have been overwhelmed by everyones’ generosity. Finally grateful thanks to Helen and her Team at D. Watters Funeral Services, Tobermore for her guidance, support and caring, dignified, professional manner in which she conducted all the funeral arrangements.
