William Thomas (Tommy) Armstrong

The family of the late Tommy Armstrong, Killadroy, Beragh, wish to express our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to all who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Thanks to everyone who called at the house, attended the funeral, sent sympathy cards, phoned, posted on social media and generously donated to the chosen charity, Air Ambulance NI.
A special word of thanks to the Reverend Bobby Orr for leading such a meaningful funeral service and thanksgiving, and for his comforting service in the family home and at the graveside. Thanks to Mr Mark Jamison for the reading and Ms Ruth Kerr for providing the music.
The family would like to extend our gratitude to JH Anderson and Sons for their professionalism and care in conducting the funeral arrangements and to Mr Ivan Woods, gravedigger, who prepared Tommy’s final resting place. We would additionally like to thank Mr Mervyn McKeown for his kindness and help with funeral preparations. We are very grateful to Mrs Irene Kyle and the ladies of Seskinore PW for the lovely refreshments after the funeral.
Sincere thanks to the many people who helped us look after Tommy at home including all his carers, the staff of Drumragh Family Practice, the district nurses, the over 65’s mental health team, Boots chemist Omagh, Gortmore Day Centre and Copperfields Private Nursing Home. Your support, dedication and professionalism meant so much to us.
As it impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our appreciation and lasting gratitude.
In Gods care you rest above, and in our hearts you dwell with love.
