Hamill (Buckna)

The family of the late Willie would like to express our heartfelt thanks to neighbours, friends and relatives who showed us so much sympathy, kindness and support at the sad passing of our Father.

To Reverend Father James O’Reilly for conducting the Requiem Mass, enriched by Karen Diamond and Meabh Bird with their beautiful singing and music, also to Sister Mary Jo for her help and prayers.

Thanks also to the good neighbours who helped prepare the grave, Shane O’Neill GAC for assisting with the parking and to Marion for piping Daddy on his final journey.

Special thanks to the staff of Braefields Nursing Home, especially Lesley, who cared for Daddy.

We are grateful for the professional and dignified service Cunning Funeral Directors provided for the wake and funeral.

Heartfelt thanks also to M and M Catering in the Halfway House for the beautiful meal afterwards and to Brian Boyle of Lighting and Audio Company for supplying the PA system for the church and cemetery.

We know so many people who went above and beyond to help and show support, as we cannot thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement is accept by all.

The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Willie’s month’s mind Mass will take place on Friday 19th May at 7.30p.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, the Braid.
