The family of the late William (Willie) Meehan of 13 Oakfield Avenue, wish to express sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of their family, friends and neighbours who supported them through their recent loss. Thanks to all who attended the wake or funeral, sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards or made donations to Ward 50 at Altnagelvin Hospital.

Our thanks to all of the medical professionals at both Gransha Hub and Ward 50 who cared for Willie with such professionalism. A special thanks to Fr Canny for his continued support at Altnagelvin Hospital.

We thank Fr Farren and Deacon Sean, St Eugene’s Cathedral, for their kindness and support and for a lovely Requiem Mass and homily, and to all of our family who participated in any way. Thanks to Michelle Conaghan for the beautiful music.

We also wish to thank W. J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for their dignified and professional handling of Willie's funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation.
Willie's Month’s Mind Mass will be held in St. Eugene's Cathedral at 7pm on Sunday 30th April 2023. All are welcome.
