DUNN, William, passed away peacefully at home, Gortaclare Road, on 28th August 2021
We, the wife, son and daughters of the late William Dunn wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement. We wish to thank all who attended the funeral thanksgiving service and those who stood along the route to pay their respects. Also to those who sent cards, messaged or telephoned.
Sincere thanks to Mr Paddy Quinn for his support and pastoral care and to Rev Canon Judith McGaffin for the beautiful service celebrating William’s life in a very warm and personal way. For their kind, caring and dignified approach we are grateful to WJ O’Brien and Son funeral directors.
Throughout William’s illness we are deeply appreciative of the dedication and professionalism of the doctors and nurses at North-West Cancer centre and the staff at Donemana Medical Practice. Heartfelt thanks to the district nurses, Strabane & District carers, Bryson carers and the Marie Curie nurses who provided care and helped to support William and keep him comfortable in his last weeks.
We were touched by the large number of donations totalling over £4600 received in lieu of flowers in aid of Marie Curie. Thank you to all those who gave generously.
As it is impossible to mention everyone individually, please accept this as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
