The death has occurred of:
William McKINNEY
The brother, sisters and the wider family circle of the late William McKinney wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with them during their recent bereavement. To those who paid their respects, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, phone calls, messages and flowers, these were greatly appreciated at a difficult time.
We were especially touched by the kindness of our neighbours and friends who attended the wake and funeral and who helped in any way.
Our sincere thanks to all the nursing staff and doctors in Altnagelvin Hospital who cared for William so professionally and respectfully throughout his many stays in hospital. Also, thanks for keeping us informed through his final days. Thanks to Dr Quinn and Dr Brolly at Scroggy Road Health Centre, Limavady, Eglinton Medical Centre, to Sabrina and all her District Nursing staff who attended William over the years. Thanks to the many carers who cared for William over the years and to his Social Workers. To Boots Chemist, Ballykelly and Lloyds Chemist in Eglinton for all their help.
We extend our special thanks to Fr McDermott for his unfailing attendance over the years to William. To Fr Michael McCanny who carried out William’s wake and Requiem Mass. We would like to thank Peter and Rachel McLaughlin for the beautiful music during the funeral requiem mass. Thanks to W J O’Brien & Son, Funeral Directors, Eglinton who carried out the funeral in a professional and dignified manner.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our family’s deep appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
William’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 29th October 2021 at 7.30 pm in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale.
