We the family of the late Willie Lynch wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised and supported us throughout our recent bereavement. We offer heartfelt thanks to our family and friends, our work colleagues and those who travelled long distances to attend wake and funeral. Thank you to all who offered prayers, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, and all the lovely flowers.

We offer a special thank you to Father Sean O'Donnell who provided spiritual assistance to dad before his passing and was a great support to our family throughout the wake. We are so grateful for his beautiful personal celebration of dad's requiem mass. Thank you to Erin and Isobel for providing the music and to all who assisted in the mass.

Thank you to Dr Stephen Lal Singh, his colleagues and the reception staff in Clarendon Medical who were so attentive to dad throughout his illness. Our sincere gratitude to the Foyle Hospice Team and Marie Curie nurses for their care of dad in his final few days.

Words will never be enough to thank Kate, Barry, and Gina for taking over our kitchen and going above and beyond, for your support in dads final days and throughout the wake.

Thank you to the staff of Link 48 for the beautiful meal provided after the funeral.

Thank you to Kieran and staff at WJ O'Brien funeral directors, Eglinton, for their professional handling of the funeral arrangements.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Dad's month's mind mass, together with his son Liam's 1st anniversary Mass will be held in St Joseph's Church, Galliagh on Tuesday 25th July at 7.30pm.
