We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Alex Hasson, peacefully in Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by all his loving family on the 14th of September 2021.

Late of 12 Rathmore Crescent. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Phyliss. Devoted father of Thomas, Joanne, John and Margaret. Loving grandfather of Leah, Ruairi, Finn, Orla and Emma. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Alex's remains will be reposing at the McClafferty funeral home and chapel of rest. Family & Friends are welcome to pay their respects from 4pm to 6pm, today Wednesday 15th September and from 4pm to 6:15pm on Thursday 16th September. Alex's remains will then be immediately taken to St. Mary's Church, Creggan via his late home for arrival at 6:45pm on Thursday 16th September to repose overnight.

Alex's funeral requiem mass will take place on Friday 17th September 2021 at 10am. The live streaming link is below;

Sadly, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and in accordance with the updated government guidelines the wake and funeral will be private for family and friends only. Please maintain social distancing and adhere to government guidelines at all times.
