The Wife and family of the late Barney McGillion, wish to express our deep gratitude and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
We are grateful to all the kind neighbours, extended family and friends who helped at the wake.
Thank you to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, and brought mass cards or wreaths. We have read and found comfort in every one.
Thank you to Fr O’Hagan for the lovely service, and to Janette and Liam Kelly for the beautiful music at the funeral mass.
A special thank you to the doctors, surgeons and ICU nurses of Altnagelvin for the excellent care, compassion and personal support they gave to Barney and his family.
Thanks to the staff at Limavady Medicare who cared for Barney for many years.
Thanks to Thackeray Day Care Centre for the support they gave Barney every day he attended.
We appreciate the money in lieu of flowers donated by many people, which will be given to ICU unit, Altnagelvin Hospital.
Finally, a heartfelt thanks to Brendan and Thomas from O’Brien’s of Limavady Funeral Directors, for their guidance, care and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s deep appreciation.
