Barry Corr

We, the family of the late Barry Corr (R.I.P.), would like to extend our sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all those who sympathised with us following our recent bereavement.

We are grateful to the many family and friends who attended the wake and funeral to pay their respects. We are comforted by those who telephoned, sent Mass cards, letters, messages of sympathy including via social media and floral tributes.

Thank you to the many people who joined us at our family home, lined the route to the chapel, attended mass, watched online and were present at St. John’s cemetery, Slatequarry. This brought great solace to us as a family. We are also deeply grateful to family and friends who gifted food and served refreshments throughout the wake.

We extend our thanks and gratitude to Dr Damian O’Donnell Coalisland Medical Centre and staff. Michael Dorman and staff at Dorman’s Pharmacy, Coalisland. Acute Care team at home, John from Clogher Valley Care, Ann’s Care Team, Marie Curie, Coalisland District Nursing Team and South Tyrone Day Hospice for the exceptional care provided to Barry during his illness. Their dedication and compassion was incredibly humbling for us as a family.

Our sincere thanks to Patsy Taggart Funeral Director for the professional, dignified and caring manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements. Gratitude to Martin Connolly, gravedigger, who prepared Barry’s final resting place.

A special word of thanks is extended to Fr. O’Neill for celebrating requiem mass and the touching eulogy. Also, Fr. Slater and Fr. McCallion for their visit to our home and Deacon Eamon Quinn for graveside service.

Thank you to Stephen Mallon for the beautiful flowers and Malachi Cush/Rory Madden for the wonderful singing and music during the mass.

Thanks also to Michael Mc Elhatton and staff of The Greenvale Hotel for the lovely food served at our home after the funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank individually all those whose kindness has brought such comfort to us at this very sad time, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation for the continuing support in our grief.

Barry’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 28th January at 7:30pm in St. Mary and St. Joseph’s Church, Coalisland and can be viewed on the parish live stream.
