Briege Barrett (née McFadden)
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Briege Barrett née McFadden, peacefully at Altnagelvin hospital on 7th December 2023.
Late of 120 Creggan Rd. May she rest in peace.
Beloved wife of Willie. Devoted mother of Melissa and Kevin. A much loved mother-in-law of Margaret and Rory. Loving nana of Shea, Clara and Darragh. Dearest sister of May, Ann, Tony and the late Kathleen and Johnny. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Briege’s remains will be reposing at her late family residence, 120 Creggan Rd from 2pm this afternoon, Friday 8th December. Funeral leaving from there on Monday 11th December at 9:20am for 10am requiem mass in St. Eugene's Cathedral. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Wake house will be strictly private from 10pm until 11am.
