Acknowledgement – Cathar Hugh O’Kane

Kevin, Tony, Benedict, Tiarnach, Sorcha and the wider O’Kane and Campbell family wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent loss of Cathar R.I.P.

Thanks to the local community in Scotland who attended the scene of the accident and the emergency services who tried their best. Thanks to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust for returning Cathar home to us at such a difficult time.

A special thanks to Fr. Luke McWilliams P.P. for his spiritual support, guidance and celebrating the beautiful Funeral Mass and Fr. Darren Brennan (Dunloy) and Fr. Barney McCahery (Ballycastle) for their pastoral care. Thanks to our uncle, Liam Hughes, aunt, Leona Campbell and her sister, Catriona, and friend, Dymphna, for the beautiful music. Thanks also to the Sacristan, Henry Quinn and those who prepared the grave.

The family wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider Rasharkin and Ballycastle communities who helped them during this difficult time. Thanks to those who messaged, sent cards, sent donations and those who gathered along the route to the Church and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful.

Final thanks to DJM Robinson & Son for the professional and compassionate manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

The Month Mind Mass for Cathar will be celebrated on Sunday 30th October at 9.00am in St Mary’s, Rasharkin.
