McGill, Claire (née Devlin) Moneygran, Dunamanagh 15th June 2023. We, the family of the late Claire McGill wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised and supported us over the period of our recent bereavement.

Thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral, gave Mass cards, sympathy cards, or paid their respects in any other way. Many thanks to Claire's relatives, neighbours and friends for their help and support, especially during the wake and also to those who brought provisions. A special word of gratitude to Anne and Peter Lindsay for hosting the wake at their home.
Thanks to PJ Kearney and Gerard Mullan for the use of their fields for car parking.

Special thanks to Fr. Eamon McDevitt PP for his spiritual support to Claire throughout her illness and for the beautiful requiem Mass and homily, and also thanks to all those who participated in the Mass. Our thanks also to Monsignor Andy Dolan for his prayers, visiting Claire in hospital and attending her wake, and to Fr. Patrick Lagan for attending to Claire's spiritual needs in hospital, and to Fr. Brian Donnelly, Fr. Roland Colhoun, Fr. Eugene Hasson, Fr. Francis Bradley, and Fr. Noel McDermott for their prayers and attending Claire's wake.

We thank Aine Devine, Leesa Browne, and the Choir for the lovely music that greatly enhanced Claire's requiem Mass. To the McNally- McGarvey- McNamee Sinn Fein Cumann for directing traffic and car parking during the wake and at St. Mary's Church on the morning of her funeral, providing the amplification in the graveyard, and who along with other Sinn Fein comrades formed the Guard of Honour at the Church, many thanks to all. We thank Susan Lappin (McGaughey), who led the funeral cortege to the Church and graveside playing very moving music on the bagpipes.

We thank Claire's close friend Sinn Fein MLA Maoliosa McHugh for his powerful graveside oration, summarising all that Claire stood for. We thank the Aughabrack Hall Committee for providing excellent refreshments after the burial. We are grateful to the committee and the local GAA clubs for postponing an event scheduled for the morning of the funeral to accommodate us, it was much appreciated. Thanks also to Jude Maguire of Quigley Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave diggers for preparing Claire's final resting place beside her beloved John.

A special thanks to the staff in ward 24 at Altnagelvin hospital for the excellent care given to Claire, to the Emergency Services, and also to her friends and neighbours who helped her prior to going to hospital.

A special word of thanks to all who stayed with Claire during her time in ward 24 Altnagelvin Hospital.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family's deepest gratitude.

Claire's Month' Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary's Church, Aughabrack on Sunday 16th July at 10.30am
