Latest Sympathy Notices

To Nicola & the family of Terry RIP we are so deeply saddendritic at the news of Terrys passing,, a dark cloud came over Portmór when we heard. A gentleman having known him since his arrival here in mayo. He was a great friend always helpfull, such kind nature. Terry was just a phonecall away and indeed came of much help to us when our boys were young having our first born 9 years ago 2 weeks after his birth a lump appeared on his head, living in such real area a hospital almost two hours away my first thought was to ring Terry he was at our house in minutes with stethoscopes etc. He examined Luke & put our minds at ease that it was not a bleed inside the brain and talked us through while on the phone to A& E he told us to make our way to hospital having explained all. Luke made a full recovery. He once again was with us with our second boy Cuán when he fell and his baby tooth was pushed clean up into his gum he was quickly on the phone to Sligo Hospital on a sat morning where he had an authodntist waiting. We frequinted his company regularly and visited each other. The boys knew him so well as their private doctor & friend. Many time we met along the beach while on walks. Our memories of Terry are so so special we will never forget him. Myself personally had an understanding on the very narrow roads here we were maybe two fast drivers we had many a joke about this. Only a small amount of what I have mentioned are shared times, each & everyone treasured forever. So sinks the gale when storms are over so dies a wave along the shore. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Kathleen, John, Luke and Cuán your friends up the road Friday 21 September 2018 Kathleen John Luke & Cuán Keane Geraghty
