I am beyond devastated to hear of Barbara’s passing. It was my privilege to call her a fellow colleague and friend. You fought your illness with great dignity and strength until the very end. With her Lord. Until we meet again Barbara. God Bless In silence he/she suffered, with patience he/she bore, till God called him/her home, to suffer no more.

I want to pass on my deepest, sincerest sympathies to Barbara’s family. Barbara counselled little children that we foster and she was beyond excellent. The children absolutely loved her and doing the crafts she did with them to help them cope with very serious issues in their lives. Barbara liked to crotchet and very kindly made little worry worms for the children to keep and they still have them. I didn’t have the privilege of knowing Barbara for too many years, but what a beautiful person, inside and out and what an impact and difference she made in our children’s lives and no doubt the lives of many others. Maybe it will help, even a little bit, to know how other people appreciated how amazing Barbara was too. I am so deeply, deeply sorry for your loss.
