Sammy, you and Anna rescued me when I needed somewhere to stay in Dunedin. I came in and completely upended your quiet lives and you never complained! We had such fun times together.
Although we only met later in life you have always been there for me and the girls, you are one of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever known. I am so sorry I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye to you.
You will always live in the hearts of the children and I and we will treasure the memories of the South Island trip for the rest of our lives.
Thank you for everything you and Anna did for me.
