Dear Nicola, Wilby, Margaret and Family
I was shocked to hear of Peter’s demise. My condolences are with you at what I can only imagine is among the most difficult times in your life.
You are in my thoughts daily at present although I have never met you, as are my fond thoughts of Peter and the great guy that he was.
I was very fortunate to spend a considerable part of my younger life in Peter’s company at Regent House, playing rugby with him for many years and socialising with him a lot!
Whilst I have not seen him more recently given family and work commitments or had the fortune to meet you all. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you at this very difficult time.
I will be in attendance at Peter’s memorial service in Newtownards on 18th September and I hope that you can find strength and support in each other in the coming weeks, months and years.
