Mum, we never could agree or see eye to eye for reasons that I never ever understood. I always loved you and I tried so very hard to win your love. I never could. I have no memory of you ever putting your arms around me or of you telling me that you loved me. However, the last time that we were together (1995) all of the past was wiped away and these issues resolved. I will miss you so much. We wasted so much time. I love you now, then, and always.
