A last link to my uncle, Robert Campbell, Auntie Annie and cousin Joan. From Marianne Stevens now of Halls Head Western Australia. He was always very generous to my sister and I as children when we visited annually. Sunday 10 January 2016 Marianne Stevens15 Picaroon Place, Halls Head WA 6210 Australia

My sister Marianne let me know that Robert had died, now I had a feeling about Jan 5th all was not right, I got out the lovely powder compact which must have belonged to our cousin Joan Campbell, and played it, it has Swiss movement in it.. then I started writing a letter to Robert, never finished it, now I know why, he has gone.... I can remember visiting the Campbell side of the family, Mum's side, Robert Campbell was one of her brothers, married Margaret, sadly she died early, leaving Robert with Joan, so he married Annie, can remember her fondly, and each time we visited Robert would come and see us...can still see his face... always a lovely man.. I am now a resident of NZ if anyone would like to make contact please. Adele Pentony-Graham 12 Neich's Lane, Clareville, Carterton 5713, Wairarapa, New Zealand.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his cousin Jack Montgomery, wife Margaret and daughters Adrienne and Eleanor. Blessed are the meek. Thursday 07 January 2016

Mr Robert Howieson was my teacher at Glengormley P.S. from 1950-1952 prior to passing my qualifying exams to enter Ballyclare High School. We always kept in touch and when I emigrated to Canada with my family late in 1953 we started a letter communication which we kept up until November 2015, his last Christmas card to me and my husband. He was a faithful and informative correspondent and I still have a lot of his letters. I wish I had kept them all. When he retired from teaching he sent to me in Canada some of the essays I had written. I had no idea he had kept them.
I visited him in Ballyclare a few times when my husband and I returned to visit family in Northern Ireland. He was always happy to see me and to get updated news on my family. A very encouraging and dedicated teacher. I shall miss him.
Rest in peace *TVOTSR
