Wish to pass on my sadness & thoughts to John's family in Armagh all the way from Birmingham.

I had been very poorly during John's own health issues.

But whilst he visited me in hospital I never sat by his bed side as he was too proud.

John has been part of my life as a friend & father figure. Whilst I never had much contact from his 2 sons I did his daughter when at school. He attended his son's wedding & on return was the proudest I'd ever seen him. Also when his nieces came to his home in Kingsheath.

I'm aware this is probably not the ideal place maybe to add this but I did leave a prayer at chapel in QE. I last spoke to John before Xmas 2015 and spoke if his plans to go home to family but he worried about the car bless. After the shock of being told of his passing I myself was readdmitted to QE

I did have comfort that I got the silver cross necklace he got me for xmas/bday.

I take comfort he is @ home with his family and want to thank you all for taking care of arrangements etc.
