Aunt Margaret, you will be missed by us all. My memories of Margaret are of an elegant, eloquent lady of style, great strength, generosity and warmth. Always a pot of coffee brewing ready to welcome friends and family into the home that you shared with uncle Ian. You where both madly in love and I suppose I always aspired to the same in my own marriage.
I remember the aromatic smell of Margaret's kitchen. Spiced beef, cooked tomatoes, grated carrot salad. Your welcoming open fire and helping you to twist the old newspapers. To me the flavours in Margaret's kitchen all seemed adventurous and by inspiration Margaret always encouraged me to try new things. I am sorry I can't be with you all for the funeral. You should know how lucky I feel to (be) have been part of the extended Livingston family.
You are a special lot of people and I will miss her just as I miss Ian. Tuesday 16 February 2016 Sarah Joyce
