What I would not give to clasp her hand, her dear sweet face to see, to hear her voice, to see her smile, that meant so much to me. You left behind an aching heart, but loved you most sincere. I never did, nor never will forget you mother dear. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Jacqui and son-in-law Don.

Deeply regretted by your daughter Laura, son-in-law Marty and granddaughter Georgia. The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops yet echoes on in sweet soulful refrains, for every joy that passes something beautiful remains.

They eat creme eggs in Heaven and dollops of ice-cream too. Old blue-eyed Frank plays on the wireless and everyone sings a tune. Maggie and Martha and young David too, all crowd round the hearth to listen to thon big Alec's yarns. And many a tale has left Agnes speechless as she fills your cup from a spout that ne'er runs dry. Your strong man George stands beside you and your children wrestle at your feet. And there are tales of football matches and ponies, of dresses and dances, and chores never quite complete. And this is a life, and this is what you lived. And Heaven is just the same - except the ironing is always done, and a little gin always waiting. It's Ahoghill to Belfast and back again, but with all the traffic lights set green. Richard. Love Always. Wednesday 29 March 2017
