Sweet are the memories that will never fade,
of the world's greatest Granny, that God ever made.
'The times we shared, the games we'd play,
'crosswords, gardening', Uno and lots of trips away.
You were such a beautiful couple, both role models to adore,
The life lessons you imparted, you could really do no more.
He saw the road was getting rough, the hill too hard to climb,
he gently closed your weary eyes and whispered... ‘Peace be thine’
Lord put your arms around her and kiss her 'SMILING' face,
for she is very special and can never be replaced.
You've left me beautiful memories, your love will be my guide
and although I cannot see you, you'll remain right by my side.
I know Granda will be waiting, with sausage supper right on hand,
I've been waiting five years May, put the "tea" on he'd demand.
Granny, I love you, your quite simply the best, now fly off to heaven, it's your time to rest.
