Very sad to learn of the death of Alan and offer my sincere sympathy to his wife Heather and family. Alan was a good friend and business colleague who, until recently, worked tirelessly and with great enthusiasm and passion, as the Chairman of The Health Regulator (RQIA), to help improve the quality of health care provision in Northern Ireland.
Will be great missed.
