Concepta, Maria and Donal wish to express their deep appreciation
to all those who called to our home, sent Mass Cards and Sympathy Cards on the passing of our beloved Danny. Thank you to all who attended Danny’s Requiem Mass. A sincere thank you to Fr. Declan Boland who gave Danny the Sacrament of the Last Rites. To Fr. Declan Boland, Fr. John Doherty, Fr. Peter Mc Laughlin, Fr Eugene Boland, Fr. Michael Doherty, Fr. Peter O`Kane
and Fr. Malachy Gallagher who attended Danny’s wake and supported the family spiritually.
A Special word of thanks to Fr. Declan Boland who celebrated Danny’s Requiem Mass and for his kind words and to
Fr. Peter Mc Laughlin and Fr. Peter Mc Cawille S.M.A for concelebrating. For the unwavering support of Bert, a wonderful brother, brother-in-law and uncle, his wife Anne Marie Mc Nulty who gave us such support on the journey with Danny.
Much appreciation to Danny’s brothers Paddy and Michael, sisters Martha and Marian, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
To our very dear friends Naomi Hamilton, Mary Mc Menamin, Ann Mc Aleer and Iona Hamilton for their support which was deeply appreciated throughout Danny’s illness. On Danny’s journey of illness many medical personnel cared for Danny.
It is with immense gratitude that we thank Dr. Brian Gallagher, staff of Mourneside Medical Centre, staff of Medicare Beechmount Avenue, Ward 50 of North West Cancer Centre, District Nurse Sister Gwenda Devine and her team of nurses, Marie Curie nurses and most especially the Foyle Hospice Palliative Home Care Team. Thanks to Gerard Bradley, Danny’s cousin for providing the beautiful music and to the soloist Ruth Corey. To Kim, Mary, Paul, Damien and Sharron Hamilton for all their help during the wake, thank you. A special thank you to Con, the gravedigger who prepared Danny’s final resting place. Thanks to Jude Maguire and the staff of Quigley’s Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Thank you to those who made donations in lieu of flowers to the Foyle Hospice, this is greatly appreciated. As it would be impossible to thank individually all those whose kindness has brought such comfort to us, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere thanks.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
May Danny’s gentle soul rest in Eternal peace.
3 Lasts Lane. Strabane.
