Called Home December 5, 2015, at the Mater Hospital, Belfast, darling husband of Eileen, much-loved and loving Dad of Julie, Alison and David, dear father-in-law of Gareth, Timothy and Laura and devoted grandad of Andrew, Jane, Anna, Peter, Ben, Tom, Ruby and Rose.

Following a Private Family Committal, a Service of Thanksgiving for Derek's life will be held in Carrickfergus Methodist Church on Tuesday 8th December at 2.30 p.m.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Northern Ireland Hospice or Friends of the Cancer Centre, Belfast City Hospital, (cheques made payable to the nominated charity, care of Mulhollands Funeral Directors, 39-41 Irish Quarter South, Carrickfergus, BT38 8BL).

Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die. John 11 v. 25.
