(Rostrevor). March 29, 2017, 11 Kilbroney Road, Rostrevor, much loved husband of Jackie and loving father of Clare, Dermot and David, dear grandfather of Jim, treasured brother of Angela, Greer and the late Nicole.
All welcome at his late home, on Friday, between 12.00 noon and 8.00 p.m.

Funeral Service on Saturday at 11.00 a.m. in Rostrevor Presbyterian Church, burial afterwards in Kilbroney Municipal Cemetery, Rostrevor.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Southern Area Hospice, c/o George Preston Funeral Director, 7 Sugar Island, Newry, BT35 6HT.

I was deeply saddened to learn that Chris has died, although I was aware of his long struggle against cancer.
I went to school with Chris at Inst and we played together in the First XI Hockey Team. Later, during our medical studies at Queens, we were members of a small team of five who raised money to purchase an ambulance and then to drive overland to deliver it to the Mission Hospital for Women in Sukkur, Pakistan.
I recall Chris as a kind, calm and caring person with a great sense of humour.
