Dympna SHORTT

We, the family of the late Dympna Shortt, wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised and supported us during our recent sad bereavement.

We thank our family circle, friends and neighbours for all their help, those who called to our home, attended the wake, sent mass cards and sympathy cards, provided food and attended the funeral or helped out in any way.

A special word of thanks to Canon McGahan for celebrating Mum’s funeral mass and for all his support over the period Mum was sick.

Many thanks to Henry and all the staff of Copperfields Nursing Home for all their care for Mum.

We are deeply indebted to the members of Clogher Eire Ogs who helped with parking and assisted at the wake, to those who drove the buses, to Declan Treanor for the use of his yard for parking and special thanks to Micheal McKenna and Niall Donnelly for providing the transport.

We are so grateful to Dominic Muldoon and Phelim McKenna, Funeral Directors, for their level of care and attention to detail in carrying out the funeral arrangements including providing lighting and a beautiful mass booklet.

Also the grave digger for preparing Mum’s final resting place and to Cathal McGirr for providing the marquee. To Cathal and Aine for the beautiful music during the funeral mass and to Kelly’s Inn for providing refreshments after the funeral, many thanks.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a sincere token of our heartfelt appreciation.

Mum’s months mind mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Clogher on Saturday 1st April at 7pm.
