Eileen Deery (née Friel)
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Eileen Deery née Friel, suddenly at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, on 28th of January 2023.
Late of 25 Creggan Heights. May she rest in peace.
Beloved wife of the late Charlie (Darkie). Devoted mother of Ann, Anthony, Catherine and Marie. Loving granny of Natalie, Nicole, Dylan, Charley, Courtney and Kian. A much loved great-granny of Riain, Reeva, Rogan, Bradán, Briá and Caélan. Dearest mother-in-law of Daniel, Pat, JD and Marian. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Eileen's remains will be reposing at her late family home, 25 Creggan Heights, from 12pm tomorrow, Tuesday 31st January. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday 2nd February at 09:20am for 10am requiem mass in St. Mary's Church, Creggan. Cremation service will take place afterwards at 3pm in Lakelands Crematorium, Co. Cavan.
