GORDON
Eileen
7th January 2024

We the family of the late Eileen Gordon wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. We are truly grateful to everyone who gave donations, brought gifts of food, sent texts, online messages, mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, and to all who attended the wake.

We greatly appreciate Fr Beggan’s visits and his comforting prayers for Eileen and the family. We are sincerely thankful to Fr Cathal Deery and Fr Patrick Dunne for their kindness, prayers and support, and for visiting Eileen in her final days.
Special thanks to all who lined the route on Eileen’s final journey home and on the morning of her funeral, and to all who attended the funeral or watched online. Special thanks to Fr McGourty for celebrating the Requiem Mass. Thanks to Ann and Louise, and Eileen’s grandchildren for their beautiful singing and music, to family for taking part in the liturgy, and to the Eucharistic Ministers and Sacristans.

Very sincere thanks to Patsy McCauley Funeral Director for the professional, compassionate and dignified way in which he carried out the funeral arrangements, and for his support and guidance. Thanks to O’Shea Graphic for preparing the online service so discretely and Erne Digital Print for preparing the beautiful Mass Booklet.

Thanks to the gravediggers and those who prepared Eileen’s final resting place so beautifully. Thanks to McElhill Canopies, to Dulrush Lodge for the beautiful meal and the Flower Basket for floral tributes.

Sincere thanks to Drs and Staff, Rathmore Clinic for their care and support and to Maria and staff, McGuinness Pharmacy for their help. Our sincere gratitude to the District Nurses, Rapid Response Team, Marie Curie Nurses, and mum’s carers for their exceptional care and support.

Special thanks to Eileen’s neighbours for their support and to everyone who held her in high regard. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.

Eileen’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Belleek on Sunday 11th February at 11.30am.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.
