The death has occurred of:
George THOMPSON
THOMPSON George, Cedar Grove, Ardglass died peacefully on Saturday 1 February 2020 in the loving care of King’s Castle Nursing Home.
Dearly beloved husband of the late Lily, loving father of Alexis and the late Mary and devoted brother of Daniel, Tilly, Bridie, Sally, Anne, Olive, Gerard and the late Patrick, James, Edward, Mary and David.
George is reposing in the Oratory at King’s Castle Nursing Home until 6pm on Sunday 2 February when he will leave to be received into St Nicholas’ Church, Ardglass. Requiem Mass for George will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday 3 February with interment following in the adjoining family burial ground in Calvary Cemetery.
Deeply regretted by his sorrowing daughter, brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces and large family circle.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his gentle soul.
