The family of the late Harry Shannon, Killough Walk, Downpatrick would like to express our gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement.
We are grateful to the NI Ambulance Service and the PSNI who tended to Harry following his passing, their professionalism and kindness gave great comfort.
Sincere thanks to Charles Rourke & Sons for the dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
We will always remember the kindness shown by family, friends, neighbours and colleagues who called at the house to pay their respects, and to all those who sent cards and messages of condolence.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Chapel of Rest and the Crematorium. Also, thanks to Rev Owen Patterson for the beautiful and meaningful service. Also, to Deacon Jackie Breen for his beautiful words at the graveside.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere and heartfelt gratitude.
A Mass will be held on 10 April 2024 in St Patrick’s Church, Downpatrick at 7.30pm, in memory of Harry and his late son Stephen.
