Jim RUTHERFORD

A VERY SINCERE THANKYOU

Pat, Liam, Conail and all the family, wish to express our thanks for all the moving and encouraging tributes we received on the death of Jim a beloved husband and travel companion for 62 years, a well loved proud father and grandfather.

Ninety one cards arrived, phone calls, visits and emails from our many friends, relations at home and abroad, friends from Ballydown Presbyterian Church. Also we thank the societies with whom Jim was involved, namely Cookstown Wildlife Trust, Belfast Naturalists’ Field Club, Lissan House Trust and Inter Church Forum.

We thank the Rev Michael Currie for his help when Jim passed away and the moving funeral service, also the practical help in the house from ‘Friends at First’ and many others.

R Steenson and Son Funeral Services gave excellent and sensitive support. Thanks also to Drapersfield House for looking after Jim on many occasions for respite. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful carers from Anne’s Home Care, without whom, I could not have managed.

The Alzheimer’s Society are very grateful for the generous donations to help combat this debilitating condition.

Gratefully Yours
On behalf of the Rutherford Family
Pat
